The Pie-Knockers have taken many forms over the past 20 years. Most notable were the old Tavern days when the band was called Whiskey River and did well with a song called “Guardian Angel”…and probably could have used one! After stints as Miramichi Express, C.O.D. and Recall, a chance meeting of Robbie and Carter in 1996 eventually led to the formation of the Pie-Knockers you hear so much about today. The band thrives on distinctive three part harmonies, and a great variety of country/rock favorites; throw in Carter’s song writing skills, and you got yourself the unique sound of Ollie and the Pie-Knockers!
